The Haus of Jane

The Haus of Jane is the creative manifestation of Madison Jane (she/her). It’s a space where hair, art, and movement unite. Madison grew up along the coasts of Southern California, she comes from a long line of crafty ladies. Her hair journey began in 2006 and shortly after a whirlwind of opportunities opened up. She trained at Sassoon Academies, with Martin Parsons, traveled around the US and Canada teaching haircutting and styling, and led prestigious New York Fashion Week shows. Her natural talent and love for styling vintage hair introduced her to the Burlesque world. Being a lifetime theater geek she was instantly dazzled. Madison Jane debuted as a Burlesque performer in 2016. In 2022 after a two year hiatus she returned with a bang and won “Most Classic” at the Burlesque Hall of Fame’s Tournament of Tease. In 2017 she completed her 200 hour Power Yoga certification and currently teaches monthly virtual Metal Yoga classes with Black Widow Yoga. In 2020 Madison found herself, like so many others, having to pivot in every direction to stay afloat. Ultimately packing everything up and starting a new journey in Asheville, NC. Although devastating, the salon closures allowed her newfound space to tap into different creative outlets to balance her sanity, she learned how to sew and create fiber weavings. In her new town she’s found more balance between work and the endless outlets she taps into. Thus The Haus of Jane was was born, where Madison strives to add beauty through creativity and art to this wild ride we call life.
